no excuse...just lazy

Well, as u have noticed I haven't blogged in about 2 1/2 months. No excuse really. I mean I constantly read blogs all day and I know everyone's newest news, drama, etc. It is just hard to get into blogging. I don't feel like I have anything exciting going on. But then again, the stuff I read on others blogs seem to be going right along with my life. So I guess I will try again, especially since I have gotten SSOOO much help from others blogs! I think I have like 4 followers...thanks ladies! How does one get more? Not that it matters to me...but whatev....

not yellow mustard...dijon mustard!

So Monday I went to Lowe's for some inspiration. Strange, huh? Well after spending hours (as noted in my previous post) searching for inspiration online, i decided I would have to see everything in person. So my trip to Lowe's was short. Basically I walked in, went directly to paint, looked at the colors for about 6.7 seconds and went straight for yellowish-gold. I thought, hmm...i like the taste of mustard, i wonder how it would look on the wall. Sounds reasonable, right? :) I did think to myself...maybe i should go a little duller, with some brown in it, more like dijon mustard... I thought color would look great and I was WWAAAYY excited. NEVER had I made such a quick decision and actually went through with it. So i went straight home and got started. About 3 hours later, this came out


I HATE IT! At first, it was okay...then it was i dunno, now I just don't like it. So, tomorrow I will be tackling it again. Maybe I will just put a finish on it, maybe go lighter, maybe darker. I dunno...wish me luck! Any suggestions would be great!

indecisive

This is one of my worst qualities....indecisiveness. Why is it that things like bathroom and bedroom colors and decorating ideas stress me out?! I have spent numerous hours throughout numerous days, searching for inspiration online. Why can't I decide? Is it really THAT big of a deal? No.

My first time...

So, after months and months of blog lurking (stalking), I have started my own. I am not real sure how exciting it will be for you. However, I spend hours and hours a day reading other people's blog, people I have never met, people whom I have, and people that live thousands of miles away. I am obsessed!

I thought I would take advantage of my weekend free, from our daughter that is, and start my blog. Before J and I got married he started a blog for us to share, but I wasn't so great at keep up with it. Hopefully, I will be able to keep up with this one.

Like I said before, my life isn't that exciting, but I hope I will be able to provide a few mins. of entertainment for those of you who have done so for me!
